From the Rocky Mountains in Canada to Denali National Park and the Kenai Fjords in Alaska, this trip abounds with natural beauty, hiking opportunities, adventure sports and wildlife spotting opportunities.  Travelling with a group of like-minded travellers, enjoying some great off-the-beaten track adventures and enjoying the expert guidance of your experienced overland crew, this is a fantastic way to explore Alaska & western Canada.

Is this trip for me?

Wilderness – this trip is really all about national parks, wilderness and wide open spaces. There are a couple of nights in towns and cities, but the majority of the trip is spent enjoying the natural beauty of North America & Canada. So if you love nothing more than getting out of cities and getting into nature then this will be a great trip for you.

Camping – this trip is around 85% camping, so you will need to be fairly comfortable sleeping under canvas. That said, most of the camping is done in well-appointed campsites, and there may also be opportunities to upgrade to accommodation in some locations.

Activity level – there are some absolutely spectacular day hikes along this expedition, and so although you can choose to be as active or passive as you like, this really is a great trip for those who enjoy getting out there on foot to explore the natural beauty of the national parks

Adventure – there are plenty of adventure activities available too, so adrenalin-junkies can get their fill by white-water rafting, mountain biking, hot air ballooning, helicopter flights, kayaking and much more.
